BEND, Ore., May 11 (UPI) — Actor Matthew Fox has been charged with driving under the influence and driving without a license, Oregon’s Deschutes County District Attorney’s office said.
Fox, 45, was arrested May 4 after police pulled him over for allegedly failing to drive within a lane and failing to use an appropriate signal.
Officers at the scene said they determined the former “Lost” and “Party of Five” star was driving under the influence and took him into custody. He was released hours later.
People.com reported the television actor, who lives in Oregon, was officially charged in the incident Wednesday.
His arraignment is scheduled for June 7, the celebrity news Web site said.
Fox was accused last year of drunkenly assaulting the female driver of a charter bus who wouldn’t let him on the vehicle. While no criminal charges were brought, a civil lawsuit against him is pending.
